April 2025 MCLE: WLA invites you to attend an informative MCLE presented by forensic accountant, Taylor Cothran. Taylor will discuss her experience as a forensic accountant and how a financial expert witness can assist you and your case at various stages. Taylor’s work as a forensic accountant and business valuation analyst spans cases involving marital dissolution, business disputes, personal injury, estate matters, and economic damages. While experts typically provide financial analysis, expert reports, and testimony, they can also provide value during the discovery process, with deposition preparation, and at mediation. Taylor will share some case studies from her work and examples of ways an expert can help with a case beyond their expert report.
The Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo is a California State Bar approved MCLE provider. This program qualifies for one (1.0) hour of MCLE - participatory credit.
